Jeremy Piven Promotes His Broadway Play and Gets Chastised By the Paps Outside the " David Letterman" Show

While signing autographs, Jeremy Piven was promoting his new Broadway play, "Speed-the-Plow." He said to his fans, and autograph seekers, "Speed-the-Plow is open. Are you guys gonna come? It's up and running."

He was then chastised by the paps for being to close to the cameras. One pap said, "Too close. We love you, but not that much!" but as he walked into the Ed Sullivan theater one (gay) pap said, "Good to see you handsome!"

Lou Reed Mingles Outside the "David Letterman" Show

Lou Reed was in no hurry to get inside the Ed Sullivan theater. He mingled from group to group on the street before he went inside. When he got out of the car he mingled, then he signed some autographs, then he briefly posed for the paparazzi, and then he went back to mingling before he finally went inside the theater. He was taping the second show, so he was probably a little early. The tape is a little brief, because I only had a about five minutes worth of tape left, and I had to save some tape for Jeremy Piven's arrival. Time to hit up Best Buy, so I can re-up.

Sarah didn't pose very long for the paps, and she only signed a couple of autographs. You would think she would want her picture taken as much as possible to support her endeavors, but...And she appeared to be a little afraid of the autograph seekers, and her fans. However, she was like Tom Cruise compared to Michael Cera.

Molly Shannon Signs Autographs Outside the "Conan" Show

Molly arrived late to tape the "Conan" show, so just as I was about to leave to head back to the "Letterman" show, her car pulled up. She was really surprised by the pictures the autograph seekers had. She kept saying things like, "Oh you got that!" and "That's so nice." She also appeared to remember the NBC security guard from her "SNL" days.

Russell Crow Arrives to the "Conan O'Brien" Show Smoking?

I was surprised to see Russell Crow smoking when he arrived to tape the "Conan O'Brien" show - not healthy! However, I like the way he's humble, and doesn't mind sitting in the front seat of his SUV, and not hiding in the back seat behind the tinted windows like the other celebrities.

I like his long hair, beard, and jump suit too. Russell reminds me of my favorite rapper Ice T.

Lucinda Williams took a long time exit the theater after the show. She may have broken the "time it takes to exit the theater" record. A lot of people left, but not Rudy, who is one of Lucinda's biggest fans or possibly her biggest fan. Rudy and I waited patiently for Lucinda's exit. He had his vinyl record and I had my video camera. Once Lucinda finally came out, she was really touched by Rudy, especially after he gave her a bouquet of flowers, and told her that she was his, "favorite song writer."

Tom Arnold Arrives at the "Conan O'Brien" Show

Tom Arnold was really gracious and nice. He signed everyone's autograph, and posed for pictures with fans, but I couldn't help but notice that he looked a lot older than I expected, and he didn't look particularly healthy. I Wikipedia'd him, and found that he's around 49 years old, but he looked a lot older; however, he recently broke his scapula in a motorcycle accident, so maybe that explains everything.

Bill Hader Departs the "David Letterman" Show

I can sum up Bill Hader's actions after he taped the show by quoting one of his fans who said, "He's so nice!" And yes he was. Bill signed everyone's autograph, and even made sure he gave the pen back to the correct person. When someone tried to take a picture of him, he was like, "Don't you want to take the picture with me?" What a nice guy!

Once again, I wasn't "allowed" to take video of a rapper. What's with the,"You can take pictures, but no video." policy. Pharrell's bodygaurd said the same thing. Did Pharrell's bodyguard, and Flavor Flav's bodyguard go to the same bodyguard school? Furthermore, I can't believe Flavor Fav had TWO bodyguards! Why would he possible need that much security?

I told the bodyguard that Tom Cruise says nothing about video being taking of him, but rappers "...be OD'ing!" He replied,"But Tom Cruise has a lot more money." So, is that what this is about? The more money you have, the more likely you are to let people take video of you? I don't think so.

In the end, everything worked, because Flavor reminded everyone that he loved us by saying,"I love all y'all."

Anne Hathaway and Simon Pegg Arrived at NBC Studios on Monday. Anne Hathaway was there to prepare for hosting this week's "Saturday Night Live," and Simon was there to promote his new movie "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" on the "Conan O'Brien" show.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus Signs Autographs and Poses for Paps Outside the "Late Show"

One of Julia Louis-Dreyfus' biggest fans, that doesn't live in New York, asked me to get Julia's autograph, so I was like, "Sure no problem!" but as I as pulling out my notepad Julia told another fan, "I don't sign anything blank. I don't do blank cards." So I slowly put my notebook back in my bag.

Watch how Julia struts down the sidewalk towards the paparazzi. She is close to Paris Hilton in the way she sensually poses for the camera.

Michael Cera Overwhelmed By Fans and Paparazzi Outside the "Late Show"

Michael Cera was overwhelmed by the crowd of autograph seekers, fans, and paparazzi that were at the "David Letterman." He literally froze! He didn't know what to do. When one fan asked him what was wrong, he replied, "But every is yelling my name!" He eventually signed a few autographs, and briefly paused for the paparazzi, but went straight to his SUV after the show.

Paris Hilton broke the record today for the longest time posing for the paparazzi outside the "David Letterman" show, and she was close to breaking the record for signing the most autographs. For the first time, my arm got so tired from holding the camera, that I had to put it down to rest it.

Paris has to be the most unique poser. She's very dramatic and sensual with her poses. You'll notice Benji Madden in the beginning of the clip walking to the SUV. Fortunately, he didn't stop, and do any sensual posing.

In addition to filming, I tried to give Paris one of my "got uggs" t-shirts from my UGG boot blog. I couldn't get close enough, so I attempted to give one to her assistant, but he wouldn't take it. He made a derogatory comment about UGG boots, and I was like, "But Paris wears UGG boot!" It didn't work, so I'm going to have to mail her one.

Alec Baldwin Signs Autographs Outside the "Conan O'Brien" Show

Initially, no one was going to bother asking Alec to sign an autograph, because he is notorious for not signing for anyone, but he must have been in a good mood after he won an Emmy Sunday night for his role on the hit television show "30 Rock."

Julianne Moore Signs Autographs After Taping the "David Letterman" Show

After posing for the paparazzi, Julianne signed some autographs, and posed for some pictures with her fans, but apparently, she doesn't like baseball, because a fan asked her to sign a baseball, but she refused, and said,"I like basketball!"

Bill Clinton Departs the "Late Show with David Letterman"

Instead of getting into a SUV after taping the show, Bill Clinton actually walked to a hotel a block away where he was holding a charity function. Of course, he was surrounded by about ten secret service men. (Btw, are there any secret service women?) I was going to film him walking down the street, but a security guard blocked everyone from leaving the barriers.

I was extra happy to see Jaime Pressly arrive at the "Conan O'Brien" show, because she arrived wearing a pair of UGG boots. Now why would I be happy about that? It's because I have an UGG boot blog.

Patton Oswalt and Diane Lane Arrive at the "Conan O'Brien" Show

Compare and contrast the arrivals of Patton Oswalt, and Diane Lane to the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" show. Patton signed everyone's autograph, and took pictures with his fans, but Diane said she would sign,"On the way out," because she was late for the show; however, they arrived within five minutes of each other. I HAD to leave, but I don't believe Diane ever came out through the same exit. I believe she exited through the garage, but I have to double check that.

Chris Rock Signs Autographs and Kisses Fan Outside the "Late Show"

Chris Rock was originally suppose to be on Friday's show, but he was switched to today's show. I was waiting for him to arrive, when he, to my surprise, exited the theater.

Some guy that was there promoting a real estate company had the wrong Chris. He kept referring to Chris Rock as Chris Tucker. He said,"Chris Tucker you rock dud! Like Kid Rock" And he kept making dog barking sounds. There's a shot of the heckler at the end of the video.

Btw, notice how Chris sneaks in a kiss (On the lips!) as he was posing for a picture with a beautiful fan.

Getting video of rappers can sometimes be precarious. Remember the Pharrel video. The guy with Jim Jones (bodyguard?) didn't look too happy that I was video taping him. He looked like he wanted to pull a Kanye on me.

I don't understand what the problem is with some of these guys. The video is for their fans. OK, I'll admit, I'm making a little money out of it too, but aren't they always saying, "Don't knock another man's hustle." I could understand if I was taping them exiting a brothel, but it was a fashion show.

Notice in the video that Damon Dash is talking to a lady who is basically ignoring him. She eventually walks away from him without saying a word to his dismay.

My friend Felix, who is an autograph seeker, took this video for me. I was at Radio City Music Hall filming some other celebrities. This video is a little shaky, because every time Felix attempts to get Robin's autograph, the camera goes in the air.

Watch as Robin converses with Radio Man. Robin could play Radio Man in a biopic or vice versa.

Pregnant Amy Poehler Leaves NBC Studios

I was waiting for Samuel L. Jackson yesterday when a very pregnant Amy Poehler, and Seth Meyers exited NBC Studios. Ironically, Amy was very camera shy. She hid behind Seth every time she noticed I was filming her.

[Btw], according to the Los Angeles Times, Amy tells the new issue of Men's Vogue that she is taking a break [from SNL] after the November election as she prepares to welcome her first child. And she won't be returning after maternity leave.

[However] she has signed on for NBC's upcoming Office spin-off, set to air next year.

Samuel L. Jackson Signs Autographs Outside the "Conan O'Brien" Show

I guy who was waiting for Samuel L. Jackson to arrive to the "Conan O'Brien" show related to me that he, and a friend saw Samuel earlier in the day, and said to him,

"Mr. Jackson! Will you sign for us please?"

Samuel L. Jackson replied,"Didn't I sign for you motherf*ckers earlier?" Lol

He didn't sign any autographs on the way into the show, but promised to sign some on the way out. He probably should have signed on the way in, because there was a much larger crowd waiting for him when he came out. He didn't curse aat anyone, but he did get visibly agitated with one autograph seeker. Listen to his reaction towards the end of the clip.

Serena Williams Departs the "Conan O'Brien" Show

OMG, Serena Williams is the biggest woman I've ever seen in my life! You can't tell from the video or even from television, but her arms have to be bigger that Arnold Schwarzeneggers. I'm not kidding, trying to make fun of her, or exaggerating.

The video is a little short, because I missed her by five minutes when she arrived. I left to see Jessica Simpson. Serena didn't seem very happy, and I got the impression I scared her with the video camera. Maybe she heard about the Kanye West incident.

Curtis 50 Cent Jackson Arrives at the "Conan O'Brien" Show

Normally guests get to the NBC Studios around 4:30, but 50 Cent got there near 6:00. There was a large crowd waiting for him, which included his bodyguard, his manager, and the NBC Page. They tried to ditch the autograph seekers by going from the 49th street side to the 50th street side, but I read the Page's lips when he told 50's bodyguard the plan.

50 decided to exit through the garage, so I don't have any video of his departure. Some fans chased his car for 5 avenues! Not five blocks, but five avenues! If you don't live in New York, you don't realize that an avenue is like three blocks. So, they basically chased his car for 18 blocks! He eventually rolled down the window for them, and signed about four autographs. For some reason he kept the pens. Maybe he doesn't want anyone to have his fingerprints. Btw, one of the autograph seekers was a White lady who appeared to be in her 70s. Yup, she ran the entire 18 blocks to get 50 Cent's autograph.

I was surprised that Tyler Perry had is own security detail. You'll see one of them put his hand in front of my camera, and flash a light into my camera too. Maybe he feels he needs to have his own security since according to Forbes magazine, he is on his way to becoming a billionaire.

I was so confused! First of all, I didn't see him leave, and the girl didn't look like the same girl that was in the Mercedes. I could be mistaken, but the girl didn't look like Camille Guaty. I saw Blake arrive in a Town Car (without tented windows!), but instead of going to the tents, she went inside the Bryant Park Hotel. At fist I second guessed myself, but it turns out it was a decoy. She eventually came out of the hotel, and we mobbed her. It appeared that the Miss Sixty show was her first Fashion Week show, because she asked the host how long the shows last.

This is a short collage of Vivica A. Fox, who arrived in tow with Phillip Bloch, Charlize Theron, and Andre 3000 at the Benjamin Bixby Bash at Barneys. Benjamin Bixby is Andre 3000's new clothing line, and the soiree was hosted by Charlize.

Vivica and Phillip were very nice, but Charlize and Andre 3000 were very "anti-social" towards the paparazzi. Charlize had her back to us the entire time, and refused to turn around while she waited for her Town Car to arrive. She eventually sneaked out through the opposite exit. And Andre 3000 pulled a Pharell on us.

Btw, when Padma Lakshmi, the host of "Top Chef" arrived, she was in a minor car accident. Her Town Car was hit by a SUV, but she wasn't hurt; however, I missed the whole thing, because I hit the wrong button on my camera!

This is a hilarious video with Adele. One of the guys in the video doesn't know how to use a digital camera. He must have been joking, right? He also said that Adele cursed out one of her fans she was taking a picture with in the elevator. He may have been joking though. The audio may be a little hard to hear until I get a boom mic for my camera, so you may have to turn up your speakers.

Btw, I like Adele's Chanel bag, but I was a little surprised by her smoking. And I'm surprised she got into an SUV this time. After the "David Letterman" show, she walked to her hotel. Here's the video.

Tilda Swinton

Tilda Swinton who won an Academy Award for her role in the film "Michael Clayton" appeared on the "Late Show" to promote her new film "Burn After Reading." She was really nice, and signed a ton of autographs, but for some reason she didn't pose for the paparazzi.

Notice in the beginning of the clip that she is having a conversation with RadioMan. I wonder what they were talking about. And one of Tilda's fans thought Tilda's accent was Australian, but Tilda corrected her and told her that it was Swedish.

Nicolas Cage Signs Autographs Outside the "Late Show"

Nicolas Cage wasn't going to sign any autographs, but the crowd was able to convince him to cross the street. At first it appeared that he was in a hurry, but he took his time, and signed a lot of autographs. It was one of the biggest crowds I've seen. Notice the guy in the clip who gets Nicolas to sign his Metrocard.

It always seems strange to me when actors become singers, and Terrence Howard is no exception. The part of the clip where Terrence poses for the paparazzi with his guitar just seems strange; however, Terrence was really nice. Not only did he pose for the paparazzi, he signed autographs for fans before and after the show.

Hayden didn't sign any autographs or pose for the paparazzi on her way into the show. She said she would sign on the way out, and her publicist told the paparazzi that she would pose on the way out. I don't know what the rush was, because she arrived somewhat early for the show.

I was actually surprised by the new haircut, and stunned by the outfit!

I got a tip on what hotel the "Entourage" cast was staying in, so I decided to stop by the hotel on my way to the "Conan O'brien" show. As soon as I got to the hotel, and leaned my back against the wall, Adrian Grenier came strutting out! I was like, "Oh my God!" I followed him down 54th, until he made a left on 6th, and got on the subway. I was a little surprised that he got on the subway since he's a celebrity, but he's originally from New York, so...

Adrian Grenier Arrives at "Entourage" Party on 14th Street

There was a party tonight for the cast of "Entourage" at the Country Club "club" on 14th street. I wasn't surprised when I saw Adrian Grenier walking down 14th street instead of arriving in an SUV, because I saw him earlier in the day entering the subway on 56th and 6th. (Video coming soon!)

Btw, take a look at the model he is with! He got her after he dumped his previous girl who was reportedly "found" in the car with Shia Labeouf when he had the recent car accident. Does anyone know the model's name?

Solange Signs Autographs After "The Early Show"

Solange seemed a little irritated when someone yelled, "Hey, Beyonce's sister!" But she signed autographs and took photos with fans despite the idiot's comment. I didn't get "too" close to her, but one of her fans stated that Solange smelled, "really good!" Maybe, I will smell her next time. Gased!

I was waiting for The Cheetah Girls in front of Virgin Records in Time Square for a long time, which is where I spotted Shwayze and Cisco! I had no idea they had entered through the side door, until I heard extremely loud cheers coming from inside the store. As I was about to get some great video of the CD signing, the security told me that video cameras weren't allowed; therefore, I was forced to take this exclusive bootleg\underground video as I rode up and down on the escalator.

Jason Statham Outside TRL

Jason Statham was at TRL to promote his new movie "Death Race" with Natalie Martinez, and Tyrese. He didn't stop to sign any autographs, or pose for the paparazzi. Good thing he didn't stop to sign autographs, because the young crowd at TRL didn't know who he was. They were like, "Who is that?!" Obviously, they didn't see one my favorite movies "The Transporter."

Terrence Howard Sneaks Out of TRL

Everyone was waiting for Terrence Howard to come out of the door that most celebrities come out of, when all of a sudden somebody looked behind the crowd, and yelled, "There's Terrence Howard!"

We all (fans, autographs seekers, and paparazzi) turned around, and saw Terrence getting into his Hybrid SUV that was parked behind us. What's up with the Hybird SUV? Is Terrence an environmentalist? So, we all made the mad dash to get some video, and a few quick pictures. Apparently, Terrence had exited through the side door of MTV studios. He "apologized" for not signing any autographs,gestured that he was in a hurry, and gave NYC Celebs the peace sign.

Tyrese Poses for the Paparazzi Outside TRL

If it weren't for the paparazzi taking pictures of Tyrese, I probably would have gotten into a fight with him over shooting video. He has a history of getting into fights with the likes of TMZ. I may have had a another situation like I had with Pharrell.

And what's up with him not signing any autographs, and telling his fans to "Calm down. Calm down." as they were screaming his name?

Shwayze and Cisco Lost in Front of Virgin Records After TRL?

I was on my way to Virgin Records to film The Cheetah Girl's CD signing, when I spotted Shwayze and Cisco Adler standing in the street in front of the store. They must have went to Virgin Records to buy some CDs after they taped TRL, but apparently they didn't know where their SUV was parked. Eventually, they were informed that it was parked around the corner. Notice how Cisco gave NYC Celebs the peace sign.

Jesse McCartney Arrives at TRL

Jesse McCartney surprised his fans. They knew he was coming, but were still extremely surprised when he opened the door of his SUV. He never came out of the MTV studios. A security guard said that he exited through Nokia theatre to avoid the crowds.

Danity Kane Leaves TRL Separately

Danity Kane exited TRL in seperate groups. Aubrey left first and appeared to have received the loudest cheers. She didn't sign any autographs, and after posing for the paparazzi went straight to her SUV. D. Woods came out second, and Dawn, Aundrea, and Shannon came out together a bit later, and got into the same SUV. I wonder why they came in separate cars. Could there be a possible rift in the group like with The Cheetah Girls.

Update #1: This just in from Media Takeout:

July 25, 2008. Did Aubrey O'Day quit Diddy's group Danity Kane? Well that's what it's starting to look like. For weeks MediaTakeOut.com has been hearing rumors of friction between Aubrey and the group.

And now, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Aubrey has missed dozens of scheduled group appearances with Danity Kane. Her excuse - apparently Aubrey's too busy doing promo for her new Broadway show Hairspray - which she'll be doing (without her group members through next month).

I get the impression that Anna doesn't like signing autographs. She hid in her car after she taped "Regis and Kelly" last week, and she signed one autograph, and took one picture with a fan outside "TRL" today. What's up with that? Isn't she suppose to be promoting "House Bunny"?

Lisa Origliasso of The Veronicas signed autographs, and posed for a lot of pictures with fans outside of TRL yesterday. She was very sweet, and cute btw. Lisa signed everyone's autograph and posed for a picture with everyone, despite her publicist. I have no idea where Jessica, the other half of The Veronicas was though.

Day26 Almost Mobbed Outside TRL

Like I mentioned a few days ago, I'm amazed at how someone can go from being an unknown to a celebrity almost overnight, thanks to reality television, which I find from a sociology standpoint to be extremely fascinating.

Case in point, Day26. These guys were very recently unknown, but today they had a throng of girls from all races trying to get "at" them; however, it wasn't happening. Diddy's bodyguards made them go straight to the awaiting 18-passenger van, and you can tell the boys of Day26 were tight. Some of the girls had to resort to yelling out their phone numbers. You can hear the first six digits of a girl's phone number at the end of the video.

Natalie Martinez Signs Autographs Outside TRL

Natalie Martinez was at "TRL" today to promote her new movie "Death Race." You talk about a ball of energy! She was the exact opposite of Anna Faris. She signed a lot of autographs, and posed for pictures with fans. She even rolled down her window, and waved at the camera as her SUV drove off. Btw, she's also the spokesmodel for JLO by Jennifer Lopez.

Mario Lopez Signs Autographs on Broadway

I hit Broadway for the first time since launching NYC Celebs\Behind the Late Show, and decided to get Mario Lopez instead of Taylor Hicks, because Mario's last performance in A Chorus Line was Saturday night. I was waiting for Mario to pull up in a black SUV, when all of a sudden I was awakened from my day dream, by the sight of Mario crossing the street directly towards me! By the time I fumbled to turn on my camera, I was only able to get a brief shot of him entering the theatre, because he didn't stop to sign any autographs. He even turned down a little girl, and asked to her wait over two hours for an autograph.

After the show, Mario signed autographs as he made his way to his SUV. You'll notice at the end of the clip that there is a girl hiding in the SUV. She had her head between her legs, so know one could see her face. I saw her, but wasn't able to get it on camera. I must say, she was young and cute. Mario is 35, but she looked to be a few days over 18. Men will be men!

Bailey Hanks Signs Autographs on Broadway

Bailey Hanks signed autographs for her fans after her Saturday night performance of Legally Blonde the Musical. I actually enjoy reality television, and I'm consistently amazed at how someone can go from being unknown to a celebrity seemingly overnight. There must have been 200 girls waiting outside for Bailey! She had ten times as many fans waiting for her than Mario Lopez, but the odd thing about it is, no one passing by on the street seemed to recognize her. Maybe those old people need to watch more MTV.

Ana Ortiz Signs Autographs Outside "Live with Regis and Kelly"

We didn't think Ana Ortiz was going to stop, and I felt really bad, because she had some Hispanic\Latino fans that waited for her for a long time; however, her driver stopped the 18-passenger fan (Lol! I wonder why she didn't get a fancy black SUV like all the other celebrities.), and she signed out of the window.

Ana actually thanks her fans, and one of them told her, "I love you Ana! You're fierce!" and Ana replied, "So are you mama!"

Some of the autograph seekers didn't get an autograph the first time around, so they chased her van down the street, and caught her at the stop light where she signed a few more autographs. In the middle of the street I asked her, "How was the show?" and she replied, "It was great!"

After I left "Live with Regis and Kelly" I stopped at Best Buy to update one of my other blogs, and on the way to the train I noticed a bunch of cameras, and a large crowd gathered in Columbus Circle. Low and behold, the Jonas Brothers were shooting a music video. I missed Joe, and Nick's filming, but was able to catch the filming of a scene with Kevin Jonas, Taylor Swift, and Frankie Jonas.

Btw, don't go to the Best Buy on 62nd and Broadway to update your blog(s), and the Mac guy there was an a**hole.

Katherine McPhee Signing Autographs Outside "Live with Regis and Kelly"

After Robert Downey Jr., and Anna Faris didn't stop to acknowledge their fans (Anna's driver gunned it out of the garage, and ran a red light to avoid her fans!), everyone was concerned that Katherine McPhee wouldn't stop to sign autographs or take pictures either. Her fans were delighted when the security guard told them not to worry, and that Katherine was going to pay them a visit before departing the show.

Katherine's autograph is below. We almost didn't get it, but one of our friends and blog readers got Katherine to sign for us, despite the fact that she was being mobbed for autographs, photos, and even hugs!

This was my first time going to "Good Morning America." It reminded me a lot of the "Letterman" show with the barricades on both sides, and all the action going on in the streets.

Jack Black was hilarious as usual. He signed a lot of autographs, and posed for a number of pictures despite the fact that his publicist kept telling him he had to go.

I was walking to the "Live with Regis & Kelly" show yesterday to get some video of some celebs when I passed the Trump Hotel and Towers, and noticed a group of girls standing outside. I immediately knew they must have been waiting for the Jonas Brothers. All of a sudden I had a dilemma on my hands, "Do I run to Regis and Kelly, and then come back? But what if I miss the Jonas Brothers?" I texed a friend for advice, and decided to stay at the Trump Hotel. Thank God I did, because the Jonas Brothers came out minutes later.

Btw, my Mac crashed, so I had to switch to Windows, and a new editing program. The editing is going to be a little shaky until I learn the new program. For example, this video begins with the guy from "Making the Band."

Kiefer Sutherland Signs Autographs Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

I always forget that the "Late Show" is taped an hour earlier on Thursdays. So, I was shocked when I turned the corner on 53rd and Broadway, to see Kiefer Sutherland already signing autographs. I immediately ran to the scene, but my camera wasn't ready yet. It was searching for a blank spot to start recording, and it was taking a really long time. I thought I wasn't going to get any video of Kiefer. Thank God Kiefer broke the record for the longest autograph session in "Late Show" history. This clip is edited, because it would have been a lot longer. It got so bad that the "Late Night" security started warning people about getting multiple autographs.

Anderson Cooper Outside "Live with Regis & Kelly"

This video was taken on Monday when Anderson Cooper taped the "Live with Regis & Kelly" show, and made those disparaging comments about Lindsay Lohan.

Anderson let loose on the Lohan family, including calling their E! reality show, "Living Lohan," a "train wreck."

"Allegedly a 14-year-old girl, looks to be about 60 I say that with concern and love," Anderson said of Dina and Michael's daughter, Ali. "She allegedly wants to be a singer and or actor-slash-performer of some sort, striptease person, I don't know." -- OMG!

At the end of the clip you'll see me filming an autograph seeker standing in the street while trying to get Anderson to roll his window down. Blake Lively's SUV was in front of me, but we had already given up on her.

Penelope Cruz's SUV pulled up to the "Late Show," but she didn't get out. Eventually, the SUV pulled off again. We thought she was going to enter the theater through the front door to avoid the throng of autograph seekers, and paparazzi; so, a number of us ran to the front of the Ed Sullivan theater only to see Penelope's SUV return to the side door, where she signed a ton of autographs, and posed for photos.

Javier Bardem Leaves "Conan" Arrives at "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" Premier

There was a large crowd of fans, and autograph seekers waiting for Javier outside of NBC studios, so Javier's driver tried to pull a fast one by driving around the corner to the 50th street exit. Thank God a keen eyed observer witnessed the car driving away, and we hotly pursued the car on foot. Shortly thereafter, Javier exited NBC on the opposite side, but only signed one autograph, and quickly got into his car.

Once again we hotly pursued the car to the movie premier - some of us on foot, some of us on the bus, and I personally took the 6 train. We got there minutes before Javier did, and he signed more autographs and posed longer for video and pictures.

Seth Rogen and James Franco at the "Pineapple Express" Premier

Seth Rogen, and James Franco left the "Pineapple Express" premier before the opening credits finished. I would image they've seen the movie before, so what's the point of seeing it again. They both stopped to sign a number of autographs, and pose for photos before rushing off.

Pharrell Unleashes Bodyguard and Entourage on Celebrity Blogger Outside the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" Show

After I filmed Seth Rogen arriving at "The Daily Show," I quickly walked from 11th to 6th avenue to film Pharrell, and N.E.R.D.'s departure from the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" show. I asked Shay Haley, who was the first to exit the NBC studios, how the show went, and he responded very kindly.

Chad Hugo, and Pharrell exited simultaneously through separate revolving doors, but I decided to focus the camera on Pharrell. (I'm sorry, but I'm addicted to "page views".) Boy was that a bad idea. Pharrell immediately put his hands up to his face. He appeared to be joking, because I could see that he was making funny faces behind his hands. Also, the only female in his entourage was looking at him like,"Why are you doing that?"

Things turned ugly when Pharrel realized that he walked up to the wrong SUV. You can tell by his body language that he was livid. But I was like, "Cool, more video!" (Did I mention that I'm addicted to "page views"?) As I was filming Pharrell sign an autograph for a fan, Pharrell unleashed his bodyguard on me. I can't make out exactly what Pharrel said to him, but this is how the conversation went between the bodyguard, and me.

Bodyguard: "Put the camera up. Let me tell you something, put the camera down! I don't want to embarrass you out here. I'm telling you, I don't want to embarrass you out here!"
NYC Celebs: "Put it down? I have to put my camera down?"
Bodyguard: "You can take pictures, but no video."

At that point, I walked several feet away. I wasn't afraid of the bodyguard. No seriously I wasn't afraid of him. He was about 6'4" and I'm 6'4". He had a beard, and I have a (nice) beard. He weighed over 250 pounds, and I weigh a little over 150 pounds. The problem was, I literally visualized him breaking my brand new JVC camera. My camera's life flashed before my eyes.

Thank God he decided to leave me alone, and that is when the some members of Pharrell's entourage jumped him, by aggressively giving me the middle finger as Pharrell walked with his sweater covering his face. I mean, I got the middle finger with passion, emotion, and meaning behind it! I've never gotten the middle finger like that before. Wait! Actually, no one has ever given me the middle finger before.

I don't understand all the hostility. I just wanted to get a behind-the-scenes clip of Pharrell, and N.E.R.D. leaving the show for their fans. (And to increase "page views".) I know there is a whole debate about celebrity privacy, but I was filming them leaving NBC studios - not leaving a crack house!

No Seats for Gossip Girls at the "Pineapple Express" Premier

After the incident at NBC studios with Pharrell, I hopped on the F train to the "Pineapple Express" premier, which was on 19th, and Broadway. I was late, and thought that I had missed all the celebrities.

Lo and behold, two members of the cast of "Gossip Girl" Nicole Fiscella (Isabel), and Nan Zhang (Kati) arrived fashionably late. I was a little surprised they walked, because most of the celebrities had BIG shiny black SUVs waiting for them. Maybe the Gossip Girls are environmentalists. (Dam, I spelled that correctly on the first try. Take that spell check.)

Just when I thought they were inside, sharing a small bag of lightly buttered popcorn (No salt! It causes bloating.), and a diet coke, they exited the theater.

Nicole kindly stopped to take a couple of photos with some Asian fans, but Nan, who is obviously Asian, refused. I asked Nicole, "What happened? Why didn't you guys stay?" and she responded. "There's no seats."

But they could have taken Seth Rogen, and James Franco's seats. They left before the opening credits finished.

This was my first trip to "The Daily Show". Seth was in a hurry, because he was running very late for the show, but stopped to sign autographs, and pose for a few photos. He eventually ran off to enter the studio, only to discover that the door was locked; however, it was quickly opened by security.

America Ferrera Signs Autographs Outside TRL

I tried to get video of America Ferrera at the "Live with Regis and Kelly" show yesterday morning, but she entered the show through the garage, and didn't roll down her window - and her windows were not tinted, they were painted completely BLACK! I had no idea she was going to be taping shows at TRL yesterday, so I was shocked when she arrived.

Tokio Hotel Signs Autographs Outside TRL

It wasn't posted on MTV's website that Tokio Hotel was going to be at TRL yesterday, but I was able to figure it out, because when Miley Cyrus was in town, her shows were taped on the previous Friday in which they aired. So, it looks like, when MTV says, "We are taking the day off to go to the beach," they are actually taping shows. I waited from 1:00 PM to after 7:00 PM for Tokio Hotel to come out. Apparently, they taped several shows yesterday, including Mi TRL.

In the beginning of the clip you'll see me shooting video of Blake through the window of her SUV after she pre-taped the "Live with Regis and Kelly" show. I was disappointed that she didn't rolled down her window, but was very happy and surprised to see her at TRL. Yup, everybody was there! In stark contrast to "Live with Regis and Kelly," Blake actually stopped, and signed a few autographs at TRL. At the end of the clip is a shot of an autograph she signed for a fan.

Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn were also at TRL yesterday to promote "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" film.

Three girls were allowed to stand by the door to wait for Lloyd to come out. He immediately gravitated towards the youngest one. (Men will be men.) Lloyd was very nice, and spent a lot of time with all three of the girls. (Men will be men.) One of the paparazzo had to hell, and tell Lloyd to, "Hurry up!" It's very interesting that a number of celebrities like when I take video of them. Lloyd was like, "Dam! They even have cameras out here. Roll down the window!"

Mary-Louise Parker Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

Mary-Louise Parker graciously risked walking across a New York City street to take photos, and sign autographs with fans. Notice how she gave our camera a nice smile before she got into her Town Car. I was going to walk over to "The Colbert Report" to get some video of Toby Keith, but Mary-Louise Parker didn't leave the "Late Show" until close to 8:15 PM!

Richard Simmons' Grand Entrance Onto the "Late Show"

Richard Simmons is such an entertainer. As you'll see, he entertained the crowds inside, and outside the Ed Sullivan Theater. The first part of the clip is the behind-the-scenes view of his grand entrance. The bike actually took Richard onto the stage where Dave, and the audience greeted him with a resounding applause.

Luke Wilson's Decoy Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

We were waiting for Luke Wilson to arrive in a shiny black SUV, when all of a sudden we see him walking down 53rd street. It turns out it was a decoy. There was a tall blond in a black dress that was riding in the Town Car with him, that he didn't want to be photographed with. You'll see her exit (1:06 in the video) the studio moments before he does, and go directly to the awaiting Town Car. Luke didn't sign any autographs until he saw that she was out of sight. Does anyone know who she is?

Mindy Kaling of "The Office" Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

For some reason Mindy Kaling of "The Office" didn't sign any autographs on the way in, and only a few on the way out. She is like a d-list celebrity, and Luke Wilson, who is like a b-list celebrity, signed a lot more autographs than she did. Maybe she had a flight to catch, or was a little embarrassed by the extra weight she put on.

Pamela Anderson Signs Autographs Outside the "Late Show"

Pamela Anderson wasn't going to sign any autographs after she taped the "Late Show with David Letterman," but the poster (below) that Felix was holding caught her eye. You'll see her in the video pointing at the picture before she got out of the car, went directly to Felix, and signed the picture on her right shoulder. The other fans, and autograph seekers owe Felix bigtime!

Maria Bello Departs "Late Night with Conan O'Brien"

I almost didn't get video of Maria Bello who was on Conan to promote her new movie "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor," because someone (cough Hal)told me that she taped the show earlier in the day. Thank God I ignored him, and went anyway! Notice in the video how the elderly lady (gently) slaps Maria Bello in the face after she gets Maria's autograph.I guess that was her way of saying,"Thanks Maria!"

Btw, Kevin Costner sneaked out through the garage. We tried to get him to roll down his window, but he refused.

James Franco Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

No one thought James Franco was going to sign any autographs after the show, because when he arrived at the show, he said he couldn't sign any autographs, because his wrist was sore. Apparently, he has been saying that for a couple of weeks. Maybe Pamela Anderson somehow healed his wrist, because he was in a great mood after the show. He signed a ton of autographs after briefly posing for the paparazzi.

I don't have any footage of his arrival, because I didn't realize the camera was recording for approximately TEN minutes before he arrived; so, when he got there I thought I was hitting record, when I actually stopped recording. I pray that never happens again.

Atmosphere Pulls Up to the "Late Show with David Letterman"

I rarely get footage of bands arriving to the show, because they usually get there very early for the sound check, but as I walked up, Minneapolis hip hop duo Atmosphere was just pulling up.

Nathan Lane didn't stop on his way in or out of the "Late Show" to sign autographs or pose for the paparazzi, and apparently he never does according to some autograph seekers. I really don't understand that. I wonder what the mindset is for those celebrities who don't sign autographs.

By the way, somehow I didn't see Randy Bachman or Larry "Bubbles" Brown.

Behind-the-Scenes Water Balloon Drop on the "Late Show"

Biff Henderson, and Alan Kalter watched the practice run of the 55-gallon water balloon drop. The practice run took place at approximately 3:30 PM before Monday's show was taped. The actual drop took place shortly after 7:00 PM. Confused? Well, Friday's show is actually taped on Monday evening.

David Duchovny Signs Autographs Outside the "Late Show"

David Duchovny signed a ton of autographs before he entered the "Late Show." One of his fans is an artist named Vorcan. Vorcan asked David,"Who do you root for in the art world?" and if he knew the name of the painting that David vomited on in one of the episodes of Californication. David doesn't root for any artists, and didn't know the name of the painting.

Vorcan also asked David if he could give him a painting. David didn't say yes or no, but kinda shrugged. David didn't stop to sign autographs after the show, so Vorcan chased after David's car, asked him to roll his window down, and told David Duchovny, "I'm going to kill it in the art world! I'm going to give you somebody to root for!" after giving David one of his painting.







By the way, during his 50 paintings in 50 states in 50 days tour, Vorcan told me that he sold the painting in the photo below to get his plane ticket to Hawaii.

The Black Kids Depart the "Late Show with David Letterman"

I was able to get some video of most of the members of the Black Kids. It's amazing to me how most bands that leave the show don't seem very excited. Instead of looking like that just performed for a nationally televised show, they usually look like they just left a funeral. Maybe they are just relieved to have the show done, because the buildup must be nerve wrecking.

NAS Entering "The Colbert Report"

We got a hot tip that NAS was going to exiting "The Colbert Report" show, so we left the "Late Show" early to walk over there. To our surprise, instead of exiting the show, NAS arrived to the show. NAS' appearance on the show was a well-kept secret, because only one other autograph seeker was there, and it turned out to be #1 Fan.

John C. Reilly Entering the "Late Show with David Letterman"

John C. Reilly didn't sign any autographs or pose for the paparazzi, and it turns out that he rarely does; however, the autograph seekers had nothing but "kind" words for John. They were so kind that I won't type them on this family friendly blog.

Tracy Morgan Mobbed on 53rd Near Broadway

After stopping his car to speak with Will Ferrell, Tracy Morgan was mobbed by fans on the way back to his car, but he was extremely nice and posed for EVERY picture, and signed EVERY autograph. There was some speculation about Tracy's level of sobriety, but at least he wasn't driving.

Mariah Carey Leaving TRL

I left the David Letterman show around 3:30 PM to get some video of Mariah Carey leaving TRL, but she didn't come out until almost 4:30!

The video is Cloverfield type shacky in the beginning, because the police forced the crowd across the street, and everybody started pushing as she exited TRL.

Btw, I'm headed to Best Buy to get a larger camera with more zoom. As you'll see, I need a lot more zoom in my life.

Jon Hamm Leaving the "Late Show with David Letterman"

After getting the clip of Mariah Carey, some paparazzi, and I sprinted down Broadway, to get back to the "Late Show." I was hoping that Amanda Peet hadn't left, but I was told that she left seconds before I got there. However, I was fortunate enough to make it back in time to get Jon Hamm as he was departing the show.

There was some other juicy stuff that happened at the show that involved an audience member being REMOVED from the show, but I need to get back on the good side of the "Late Show" security, so I won't say anything.

Augustana Signs Autographs Outside the "Late Show"

Members of Augustana posed with fans, and signed autographs as they loaded up their van to depart the show. Most of the band seemed to be familiar with the African-American girl. They were like, "Hey, how are you?" I wonder if she is a super fan.

Shwayze and Cisco Adler Departing TRL

As you will see in the video, Shwayze and Cisco Adler came directly towards me as I was filming. The police and security were screaming at everyone to make a path, because Shwayze and Cisco's van was parked directly behind a lot of people that were waiting for Mariah Carey.

Cisco only signed a couple of autographs, because he said they were in a hurry. One of the gawkers mentioned that Cisco looked like Weird Al Yankovic.

Will Ferrell Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

The autograph session with Will Ferrell was very funny, but the jokes weren't coming from him. The jokes were coming from the fans, some of which were directed at Will's hair.

While Will was signing autographs, Tracy Morgan happened to drive by. Tracy got out of his car, spoke with Will, and signed autographs and took pictures with fans.

MythBusters Arrive at the "Late Show with David Letterman"

The MythBusters Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman stopped to sign autographs with fans, and posed for the paparrazi before entering the show. They appeared to be very humble, and were very accommodating. The Mythbusters must be a well-watched show, because Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman had a lot of fans.

Rosie Perez Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

Rosie Perez wasn't originally listed to be on the show, but I overheard someone say that she was on her way. By the way, the "Late Show with David Letterman" security guards, and police are great! They do a fantastic job with the show.

So, Rosie quickly snuck into the show when Bud Selig was signing autographs, but took forever to come out. The show that airs on Fridays is actually taped on Monday evening, and it was close to sundown when she finally came out. Even the paparazzi left, but it was worth the wait. Rosie was very nice. She posed for pictures, and even answered questions from fans.

Behind-the-Scenes of the Skateboard Skit

Below are some behind-the-scenes clips from the skateboard skit.

Apparently, the Jamba Juice skit the skateboarder participated in was really trying for him. He skateboards on his hands, because he had surgery on both of his knees, but the show couldn't decide if they wanted him to come through the front door or side door. There was a lot of running around from the front door to the back door to the front door to the back door, and it took a pounding on his knees.

After the show was over, he mentioned that he was "very nervous," but seemed to be overall very pleased with the experience.

Caroline Rhea Departing "Late Night with Conan O'Orien"

We were able to get exclusive video of a very pregnant Caroline Rhea in the NBC studio's lobby after she taped the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" show.

She signed everyone's autograph, posed for pictures, and even waved at the camera before acknowledging us. She seemed to be surprised that we were taking video of her.

Video from the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" show will now be a regular feature on the blog.

Aaron Eckhart Signs Autographs Outside the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien"

This is the second time I've had Aaron Eckhart on the blog, but this time he is exiting the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" show. Just like outside the "Late Show," he graciously signed everyone's autograph before entering his awaiting SUV.

Surprisingly, the SUV had a sign with his name on it spelled incorrectly. It read Arron Eckhart. Maybe that's his alias.

Ricky Gervais Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

Ricky Gervais briefly signed autographs before he posed Mike Myers style for the paparazzi. One of the autograph seekers congratulated him on his Emmy nomination, and told him he deserved it.

John Mellencamp Outside the "Late Show with David Letterman"

After exiting his SUV, cigarette in hand, John Mellencamp signed a ton of autographs.

One of the autograph seekers asked for multiple items to be signed. John signed a couple of items for him, but then said in a joking manner,"I know you got to make a living Goddammit! I did it." but refused to signed anymore for the guy, and soon after tossed the marker into the crowd before entering the show.
